Experience Turkish culture and traditions as you’re entertained by the performers in a Turkish Night show at one of Cappadocia’s cave restaurants. During the show waiters serve unlimited soft and alcoholic drinks with appetizers.

The show begins with a short version of a whirling dervish’s performance. Enjoy the live music performed by musicians in traditional costume. After the dervishes, folk dancers in traditional dress enter, and the dancing begins.

Dancers perform traditional Turkish wedding dances in which the bride. This is followed by a few folk dances from different parts of Turkey, and then the belly dancer takes the stage. She performs her breathtaking dance and then goes around the room asking men to join her on the stage. The lucky men learn some basic belly dancing moves.

This trip starts either at 10:00 in the morning and finish around 14:00 in the afternoon or at 13:00 in the afternoon and finish around 17:00 We will pick you up from your hotel and start our adventure driving from Goreme to Uchisar.  Our first stop is the majestic vista point overlooking Goreme. From the panoramic viewpoint, we will drive to Ibrahimpasa Village. There is a bridge in the center that crosses a gorge which dates back to 1939 but a recent facelift has left it looking brand new. On either side, you will see fine old stone Cappadocian houses with highly decorative facades that rise up amid the newer builds. On the other side of the village, a path winds down to views over a glorious unspoiled valley.

Our next stop will be Pancarlık Church (Beet Valley). It is a monastic church housed inside a group of rock cones. The flat ceiling of the church is still completely covered with frescoes in which reds and greens predominate as is the upper part of the small apse and large parts of the north and south walls.

Not far away is the Sarıca Church which was only discovered quite recently (it was buried under mounds of earth) and which has been completely restored. It stands in splendid isolation and is only open from April through to the end of October.

We will then drive to Gomeda Valley and explore one of the hidden beauties of Cappadocia. This valley is known to be the greenest valley of Cappadocia

Our last stop will be Mustafapasa Village, a former Greek town which was inhabited by “Rums” (Greeks) until 1924 population exchange. You can visit the old Greek mansions and have a short walk in this town.

Driver has Basic English and he will drive you from one site to another. He will not be able to explain the sites.

You will travel through some of the most beautiful valleys in Cappadocia Some riding experience is recommended as there are several areas where you may be required to dismount and walk the horse and then mount the horse again to continue the tour. The Turkish cowboy will be with you the entire time for assistance but you will be expected to handle your horse during the tour.

Helmets are available at the ranch upon request.

Depending on the season, a light jacket may be necessary as you will be at different elevations during the tour. Comfortable clothing and flat shoes are recommended. The trails wind up through volcanic stone hills passing many beautiful fairy chimneys and churches along the way – with breathtaking vistas on mountain tops and unique landscapes in every direction. All rates include transportation to/from your local area hotel and your horse ride with a Turkish Cowboy!

Have the fun of a ride while observing the natural volcanic rock formations of Cappadocia from the unbeaten tracks are possible with guided ATV Tours. You will enjoy your Cappadocia ATV ride, following your local guide skillfully riding their ATV, sometimes from the edges of the caves and sometimes inside the valleys surrounded by mushroom shapes of fairy-chimneys. Enjoy a 2 hour ride available both in the morning and afternoon during sunset; however the sunset trip is recommended to end your tour watching sunset in Cappadocia. Avoid carrying extra gear; all necessary equipment is included.

2. You will receive an e-mail, a message or we will advise your hotel of the pickup time prior to the flight day.

Proceed to Avanos the Pottery Center of Cappadocia, the village is set on the banks of the Kizilirmak/Red River. The River gets its name from the Red clay deposits, here you can watch the potters at work using the traditional kick wheels, a technique that has remained unchanged for generations.

Lunch is served in a local Restaurant
After lunch we continue to the Göreme Open Air Museum, import Byzantine Cave churches are found in these once remote Valleys where Monks and Nuns pursued monastic life the 3rd Century. Here you will see the preserved Byzantine Cave wall paintings and Frescos from the Iconoclastic period through to the end of the Selcuk Rule.
Icons with scenes from the Old and New Testament can be seen above portraits of Saints and Church Fathers depicting the Structure of the Byzantine Period.

Drive to Derinkuyu Underground City, which is one of the best preserved settlements in Cappadocia, the excavated depth is approximately 85m and as well as containing the usual Refectories, Church’s and Wineries it has a large room on the second floor that was a Missionary School with Study rooms.

Proceed to the Famous Ihlara Valley, The gorge is 16km long and both sides are lined with Rock carved Churches and Houses, our leisurely walk is 4km along the River deep in the Valley where you are free to explore the Hidden Churches.

At the end of the walk lunch is served at a quaint Restaurant in Belisirma Village on the River. On route back to Cappadocia we visit the Selime Monastery which was carved out of Rock by the Christian Monks in the 13th century, the size of this Church is truly astonishing.

We will stop briefly at Yaprakhisar Panoramic Point for another view of this great Monastery (This is also the spot where the famous Star Wars Movie was shot)
