Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1: ISTANBUL - CAPPADOCIA

    Arrival in Turkey (Istanbul) and meeting at the airport, continue to Domestic Terminal take a flight to Cappadocia.

    Upon arrival, meet & greet at the arrivals area. The representative will be holding a nameplate & transfer to hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.

  • Day 2: CAPPADOCIA – Green Tour

    After breakfast we start with a spectacular View over Goreme from Esentepe, here you will see a complete view of Goreme Valley and Village consisting of Fairy Chimneys, Rock formations, and Cave Houses.

    We continue our drive to the Derinkuyu Underground City, this City is one of the best-preserved settlements in Cappadocia, the excavated depth is approximately 85m and as well as containing the usual Refectories, Church’s and Wineries it has a large room on the second floor that was a Missionary School with Study rooms.

    Proceed to the Famous Ihlara Valley, The gorge is 16km long and both sides are lined with Rock carved Churches and Houses, our leisurely walk is 4km along the River deep in the Valley where you are free to explore the Hidden Churches.

    At the end of the walk, lunch is served at a quaint Restaurant in Belisirma Village on the River. On route back to Cappadocia we visit the Selime Monastery which was carved out of Rock by the Christian Monks in the 13th century, the size of this Church is truly astonishing.

    We will stop briefly at Yaprakhisar Panoramic Point for another view of this great Monastery (This is also the spot where the famous Star wars Movie was shot)

    Overnight in Cappadocia.

  • Day 3:CAPPADOCIA - Red Tour

    After breakfast in the hotel, we will visit Devrent Valley to see the lunar landscape and different rock formations. We will walk in Paşabağ to see the highest fairy chimneys and the caves where the Christian monks secluded. Lunch in Avanos and a visit to a traditional pottery workshop for a demonstration. In the afternoon we will visit Göreme Open Air Museum and see the rock-cut churches and beautiful frescoes and paintings of 10th through the 13th century.

    After museum, we will go to the Uchisar rock castle for the beautiful view of Cappadocia valleys. Overnight in Cappadocia.

  • Day 4: CAPPADOCIA - EPHESUS

    Take the early morning flight from Kayseri Airport to İzmir. Upon arrival, meet & greet at the arrivals area. The representative will be holding a nameplate & private transfer to Ephesus. A Visit to the House of the Virgin Mary. Virgin Mary was brought here by St.John after the crucifixion and lived her final years near the city of Ephesus on an isolated mountaintop. It has been designated a pilgrimage site by the Pope. After visiting the House of Virgin Mary we will visit Ephesus, the best ancient city of Turkey. Ephesus, where Heraclitus(the philosopher who said ‘’everything flows and nothing stays’’)lived,which is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world (The Temple of Artemis), where Alexander the Great visited and where St.Paul preached to the early Christians, is one of the beautiful ancient cities in the world. Also, we may visit The Basilica of St.John where he was buried. Overnight in Kusadasi.

  • Day 5: PAMUKKALE - ISTANBUL

    Check out from the hotel and drive to Pamukkale. Pamukkale to see the travertine terraces and the ancient city Hierapolis. The terraces were formed by running warm spring water. Their shapes are in the form of terraces with pools. Pamukkale which means ‘cotton castle’ takes its name from these formations. Take a flight from Denizli to Istanbul. Upon arrival, meet & greet at the arrivals area. The representative will be holding a nameplate & private transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

  • Day 6:ISTANBUL (OLD CITY)

    The tour starts with a visit to ancient Hippodrome. The original building of the Hippodrome was built in 3rd century A.D by Septimus Severus. The Hippodrome was the civil center for the people. In hippodrome, you may also see The Egyptian Obelisk(Dikilitaş), The Serpentine Column, The Constantine Column and German Fountain of Wilhelm 2. The tour continues with the visit to The Blue Mosque(Sultan Ahmet Camii). It was built by Sultan Ahmet I. in the 17th century. The tourists are fascinated with its beautiful blue tiles. This is followed by a visit to the Topkapı Palace which was the second palace in İstanbul for The Ottoman sultans between the 15th and 19th centuries. After lunch, the tour continues with a visit to The St.(Hagia)Sophia which was built by The Emperor Justinian. It was the largest church for many centuries and today it is the fourth largest church in the world. You will see its beautiful mosaics that are samples of Byzantine art. We will visit The Underground Cistern which is the largest and most ornate cistern in İstanbul. Tour continues with The Grand Bazaar. (You may have free time in Grand Bazaar to see beautiful crafts.) Overnight in Istanbul.

  • Day 7: ISTANBUL (BOSPHORUS CRUISE and DOLMABAHCE PALACE)

    Today we will go to Bosphorus. Firstly we visit the Egyptian Spice Market. It was built in 1664 as a part of the Yeni Cami complex. Today, you may buy spices and Turkish delights. The tour continues through Galata Bridge and Golden Horn. We will visit the incredible 19th c.Dolmabahce Palace. The palace was built by Sultan Abdulmecid. It consists of 285 rooms,46 halls and there are approximately 600 paintings. We continue up the Bosphorus and cross over Asia, go to Camlica Hill for a view of İstanbul. After lunch, we will visit the Sadberk Hanim Museum, with its well-organized archeological and ethnographical sections. The Bosphorus cruise begins in the afternoon(ferry). Bosphorus is a narrow strait between Europe and Asia connecting the Black Sea to the Marmara Sea. We pass by the Rumeli Fortress and you will enjoy crossing from continent to continent. Overnight in Istanbul.

  • Day 7: ISTANBUL

    Check out from hotel Transfer to International Airport.

    08:30 pick up from your hotel to visit the Hagia Sophia a 5th-century church, once the greatest in all the world. The next stop is at the Blue Mosque renowned for its striking blue Iznik tiled interior. Afterwards, visit the ancient Roman Hippodrome. Following a lunch break in the old town, visit Imperial Palace of Topkapi from which Ottoman Sultans ruled their grand empire for over 400 years and visit the Suleymaniye Mosque. Tour finishes around 17:00, transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

  • Day 3: Bosphorus Cruise & Two Continents Tour

    08:30 pick up from your hotel to visit Spice Market and followed by a boat cruise through the Bosphorus, the strait dividing the European and Asian continents, Following lunch break in the afternoon, visit the luxuriously opulent Dolmabahce Palace, the last residence of the sultans. A drive to the Asian part of Istanbul crossing the Intercontinental Bosphorus bridge to visit Camlica Hill The highest point where you can overlook Istanbul and take nice pictures.

  • Day 4: Cappadocia Tour 1

    Breakfast and Lunch Included

    Transfer to airport flight to Kayseri early morning. Upon your arrival in Kayseri, you will be met at the airport and transfer to Cappadocia to hotel.
    Depart from your hotel after check in to visit Devrent Valley to see the unique fairy-chimneys. Drive to Pasabag (Monk’s Valley) to see the most interesting mushroom-shaped pinnacles. Drive to the city of Avanos for lunch. In the afternoon visit another beautiful Open air museum at Goreme where the remains of rock-cut churches and Christian settlements date back hundreds of years. Lastly, before returning to your hotel, visit the natural castles at Uchisar. Overnight in Cappadocia

  • Day 5: Cappadocia Tour 2 – Optional Hot Air Ballon Tour

    After breakfast, at 09:30 am pick up from the hotel and full days tour of Southern Cappadocia. We will visit Uchisar Castle, Pigeon valley, Underground city (Kaymakli) and hiking in one of the beautiful valleys of Cappadocia. (Where early Christians lived in fear and faith)

    After tour transfer to Kayseri airport. Flight to Izmir then transfer to your Hotel in Kusadasi (Ephesus). Stay overnight

  • Day 6: Ephesus Tour

    The tour begins by visiting the remains of the Artemis Temple, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Afterwards, it proceeds to the spectacular main site of Ephesus, undoubtedly the most superbly preserved Greco-Roman city. Tour Itinerary

  • Day-1: ISTANBUL

    Arrival in Turkey (Istanbul) and meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel.

  • Day-2: ISTANBUL (OLD CITY) - CAPPADOCIA

    The tour starts with a visit to the ancient Hippodrome. The original building of the Hippodrome was built in the 3rd century A.D by Septimus Severus. The Hippodrome was the civil center for the people. In the Hippodrome, you may also see the Egyptian Obelisk (Dikilita˛), The Serpentine Column, The Constantine Column and the German Fountain of Wilhelm 2.

    The tour continues with a visit to The Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmet Camisi). It was built by Sultan Ahmet I in the 17th century. Visitors are fascinated with its beautiful blue tiles.

    This is followed by a visit to Topkapi Palace which was the second palace in Istanbul for the Ottoman sultans between the 15th and 19th centuries.

    After lunch the tour continues with a visit to the St. (Hagia) Sophia which was built by the Emperor Justinian. It was the largest church in the world for many centuries and today it is the fourth largest. You will see its beautiful mosaics, exquisite samples of Byzantine art.

    We will also visit the Underground Cistern which is the largest and most ornate cistern in Istanbul.

    The tour continues with a visit to the Grand Bazaar. (You will have free time in Grand Bazaar to wonder through the vast maze and see the beautiful crafts.)

    When we finish this segment, we will transfer to the airport for the flight to Cappadocia (Kayseri airport).

    Upon arriving at the Kayseri airport, we will make the one hour trip to our hotel in the heart of Cappadocia.

  • Day-3: CAPPADOCIA – Green Tour

    After breakfast  we start with a spectacular View over Goreme from Esentepe, here you will see a complete view of Goreme Valley and Village consisting of Fairy Chimneys, Rock formations and Cave Houses.

    We continue our drive to the Derinkuyu Underground City, this City is one of the best preserved settlements in Cappadocia, the excavated depth is approximately 85m and as well as containing the usual Refectories, Church’s and Wineries it has a large room on the second floor that was a Missionary School with Study rooms.

    Proceed to the Famous Ihlara Valley, The gorge is 16km long and both sides are lined with Rock carved Churches and Houses, our leisurely walk is 4km along the River deep in the Valley where you are free to explore the Hidden Churches.

    At the end of the walk lunch is served at a quaint Restaurant in Belisirma Village on the River. On route back to Cappadocia we visit the Selime Monastery which was carved out of Rock by the Christian Monks in the 13th century, the size of this Church is truly astonishing.

    We will stop briefly at Yaprakhisar Panoramic Point for another view of this great Monastery (This is also the spot where the famous Star wars Movie was shot)

    Overnight in Cappadocia.

  • Day-4: CAPPADOCIA - Red Tour

    After breakfast in the hotel we will visit Devrent Valley to see the lunar landscape and different rock formations. We will walk in Paşabağ to see the highest fairy chimneys and the caves where the Christian monks secluded. Lunch in Avanos and a visit to a traditional pottery workshop for demonstration. In the afternoon we will visit Göreme Open Air museum and see the rock-cut churches and beautiful frescoes and paintings of 10th through 13th century.

    After museum we will go to the Uchisar rock castle for the beautiful view of Cappadocia valleys. Overnight in Cappadocia.

    Transfer to Kayseri airport for the flight to Istanbul and then to the hotel.

  • Day-5: ISTANBUL (BOSPHORUS CRUISE and DOLMABAHCE PALACE)

    Today we will go to the Bosphorus. First, we will visit the Egyptian Spice Market. It was built in 1664 as part of the Yeni Cami complex. Today, you may buy spices and Turkish delight. The tour continues to the Galata Bridge and Golden Horn.

    We will visit the incredible 19th century Dolmabahce Palace. The palace was built by Sultan Abdulmecid. It consists of 285 rooms and 46 halls that house approximately 600 paintings. We continue up the Bosporus and cross over to Asia, going up Camlica Hill for a view of Istanbul.

    After lunch we will visit the Sadberk Hanim Museum, with its well-organized archeological and ethnographical sections. The Bosphorus cruise (ferry) begins in the afternoon. Bosphorus is a narrow strait between Europe and Asia connecting the Black Sea to the Marmara Sea. We pass by the Rumeli Fortress and you will enjoy crossing from continent to continent.

    Overnight in Istanbul.

  • Day-6: ISTANBUL

    Transfer to the airport for your international flight and departure from Turkey.

    You will enter the ancient site at the Magnesia Gate and begin a slow walk downhill, being guided through the ruins of the Roman provincial capital. The tour makes its way past the amazing features of Ephesus including the Odem, the Celsius Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan, and the Great Theatre. The theatre, which had seating for 25,000, is the site where St. Paul preached to the inhabitants of the city. The tour also includes the house of the Virgin Mary, a small house in the Solmissos Mountains recognized by the Vatican as her final resting place. Another attraction is the Temple of Artemis, known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Today the foundations of this marvelous construction from the Hellenistic Age remain. At the end of the tour, transfer to the hotel in Kusadası.

    Pamukkale Tour - Overnight bus to Istanbul

    Pick up from the hotel to take a 3-4 hour journey to Pamukkale. You can see this phenomenal site well before you arrive in the village below. The water from these springs has a high mineral content (chalk, limestone, and travertine) that cascading down the mountain, giving rise to the complexion of the mountains; resembling a frozen waterfall. The water contains a large amount of hydrogen carbonate and calcium, which results in the precipitation of calcium bicarbonate. The combination of these elements attributes to the surreal landscape at Pamukkale as well as its place on the World Heritage list. Long before this listing, the Romans recognized the appeal of the area, building the spa city Hierapolis.
    At the end of this tour, guests are transported to the bus station for an overnight journey to Istanbul or another destination.

    Devrent Valley and Pasabag: Start the day visiting Dervrent Valley also known as Imagination Valley, this is one of the most surreal-looking landscapes in Cappadocia. The next stop will be Pasabagi also known as Monks Valley where Christian hermits chose to build Hermit Cells and Churches in these 3 headed Pinnacles symbolic of the Holy Trinity, it is possible to see all stages of the fairy chimneys at this spot.

    Avanos: Proceed to Avanos the Pottery Center of Cappadocia, the village is set on the banks of the Kizikirmak/Red River. The River gets its name from the Red clay deposits, here you can watch the potters at work using the traditional kick wheels, a technique that has remained unchanged for generations.
    Lunch is served in a local Restaurant.

    Göreme Open Air Museum: After lunch, we continue to the Goreme Open Air Museum, important Byzantine Cave churches are found in these once remote Valleys where Monks and Nuns pursued monastic life in the 3 rd Century. Here you will see the preserved Byzantine Cave wall paintings and Frescos from the Iconoclastic period through to the end of the Selcuk Rule. Icons with scenes from the Old and New Testament can be seen above portraits of Saints and Church Fathers depicting the Structure of the Byzantine Period. Panoramic View Point Esentepe with a spectacular view over Goreme Valley and Goreme Village. End your day with a view of Uchisar Castle, this tall Rock is the highest point of the Goreme region.

  • Day-3:
    Cappadocia Green Tour – Optional Hot Air Balloon Ride

    Breakfast and Lunch Included
    Red and Rose Valley: Start the day with a leisurely 4km walk along the Red & Rose Valley, where Valleys have some of the most breathtaking and mysterious views in the region. The Valley is famous for the fabulous volcanic rock formations so that it is in the heart of Cappadocia, but away from the mainstream tourist sites.
    The relaxing walk will end in Cavusin Village where we will see a Rock Castle and Troglodyte dwellings people lived until the 20th Century.
    Lunch is served in a Local Restaurant.

    Underground City of Kaymakli: After lunch, we will descend towards the center of the earth with a trip to the Underground City of Kaymakli, where Kaymakli is one of the largest and deepest Underground settlements in Cappadocia. The City is approximately 40m deep and contains all the rooms commonly found in Underground Cities, Stables, Cellars, Storage rooms, Refectories, Churches, and wineries. On the return we will visit Pigeon Valley where you will have spectacular views of Dovecotes, Old abandoned Cave Homes, and Old Greek houses.
    Lastly, we will stop in Ortshisar to see Ortshisar Castle, the biggest mass of fairy Chimneys in Cappadocia.

    EphesusTour:
    We will take you to Ephesus – an ancient Greek City that was partially destroyed by an earthquake in 614 AD. In its area you’ll attend the Library of Celsius that was originally built in 125 AD and once held nearly 12,000 scrolls; the Odeon, a small roofed theater seating about 1,500 people; the Temple of Hadrian dated from the 2nd century.

    It is depicted on the reverse of the 20 new lira banknotes of 2005-2009; among other constructions is Temple of Serapis, Agora, Marble Street, Bouleuterion (a council house), Great Theatre, Double Church, Arcadian Way, Gate of Magnesia, Temple of Artemis that was one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world; the Isabey Mosque is one of the oldest and most impressive works of architectural art.

    Ephesus plays a key role in Christianity: from 52-54 AD the apostle Paul lived here; the Gospel of John may have been written here; the city was of the 7 churches of Asia that are cited in the Book of Revelation; Mary, Jesus’ mother, may have spent the last years of her life here.

    Finally, we visit the Calcium Terraces and Pools.
